SOS upload requirements at a glance
- Photo: 350 × 350 pixels, JPG, not more than 20 KB.
- Signature: any dimensions, JPG, not more than 20 KB (around 18 KB is ideal).
- Document: JPG, not more than 40 KB. You can add several pages at once — each is compressed automatically, no cropping needed.

Does my photo get uploaded to a server?
No. This tool processes your photo, signature, and documents entirely inside your web browser. Your files never leave your device, which keeps student data private.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. On a mobile phone, the "Use camera" button opens your camera so you can capture a photo, signature, or document directly. You can also pick an existing file from your gallery.
What if my photo won't go under 20 KB?
The tool automatically lowers the image quality step by step until it fits. If it still cannot reach the limit, you'll see a message — try cropping tighter so there's less detail to compress.
Why is the photo forced into a square?
SOS passport-style photos must be 350 × 350 pixels, which is a square. Locking the crop to a square guarantees the output matches the requirement exactly.
